MIB Network Christmas Party 2019
Last night we had our lovely Christmassy get together and (almost) world famous Grand Raffle in aid of local charity The Sam West Foundation (read more about it below).
Thanks to the huge generosity of our members, guests and some other local businesses we were able to raise a whopping £353 to help promote awareness, diagnosis and treatment of mental health issues affecting children, teens and their families. Thank you x
If you’d like to find out who donated all the prizes and who won them, scroll down this page.
As usual we had some particularly lucky people who won multiple prizes – I think Fay Hawkins came out overall this year having won a PT session, a facial, a massage AND a haircut!
This year’s charity

This year we have selected The Sam West Foundation to donate the ticket proceeds to because, quite simply they do amazing stuff to help support kids like ours.
It was set up by the Kent family of Sam West who took his own life at the age of 15 after a short period of anxiety and depression. The charity’s objectives are to promote awareness, diagnosis and treatment of mental health issues affecting children, young adults and their families to try and stop this happening again.
Ben West, Sam’s younger brother, recently won the overall prize at the 2019 unbridge Wells Love Where We Live Awards for all the amazing work he has done in helping other teens like his brother who need support.
